We are now looking for an accounting economist to join our team!

In the role of accounting economist, you will be responsible for ongoing accounting for several small subsidiaries and parts of the parent company (Telenor Connexion AB). You will have many points of contact within our global organization – we therefore believe that you are social and enjoy building relationships.

The role reports to Mariam, who is the Head of Accounting, and you will be five in the team. You will also work closely with Business Control, which consists of three employees reporting to Lisa, CFO.

As an Accounting Economist, you will have the opportunity to take significant ownership of the numbers and have your own responsibilities in your role. You will work with and be responsible for:

• Ongoing accounting
• Reporting to the parent company in Norway
• Contact with accounting partners and auditors in various countries
• Ensuring deadlines are met regarding year-end and annual reports for your companies
• VAT and tax-related issues
• Other tasks within the finance function

We are looking for someone who is confident in their skills but still has strong drive, curiosity, and a desire to make a difference.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:

• Have an academic degree in finance or equivalent
• Have experience from a broad role in accounting, preferably from a start-up or scale-up company
• Have worked in various systems and enjoy streamlining
• Have experience with reporting to the parent company
• Have very good knowledge of Excel
• Speak and write Swedish and English fluently
• Experience with analytical tools or digitalization journeys is a plus
